Introducing our youngest humans to the practice of mindfulness is a great tool to have for all the different stressors these little minds face throughout their day. Exposing kiddos to the power of intentional breathing, guiding them through relaxing their body and calming down the mind, and encouraging them to expand their imagination to visualize positive outcomes to stressful situations.
New experiences can be scary and intimidating for kiddos. Being cuddled up next to their safe adult while they take in all the sounds and vibrations will help alleviate any fears they may have.
During the sound bath you will experience the harmonizing tones of the crystal singing bowls, the crashing of the gong, the rhythmic beat of the drum, the enchanting melodies of the harp, and an ethereal feeling from the chimes. My intention is to gently guide you into a state of complete relaxation, calming the nervous system, and encouraging your mind and body to rest by combining yoga nidra, guided mediation, and sound.
Space is very limited for this offering. It is important that nobody feels overwhelmed by the amount of people present. Our little yogi’s and their safe adult will have plenty of space to get comfortable and cozy, or to roam and explore the surroundings during the sound bath. All ages are welcome.
